Review: FlipBook

Do you love creating flip books? Do you love your iPhone/iPod touch? Are you human? If you answered yes to any one of those questions, than FlipBook is for you! And it’s a great way to make high quality flip books wherever you are! FlipBook sells for $9.99 on the AppStore.

(Applications are going to be reviewed a little bit differently than games)

Presentation

When you open up the application, you are presented with controls to view your old projects, and create a new one. The menu is very clean and simple. Very nice and easy to use.

Score: 8

Function:

At first, you may find it a little bit hard to use all of the app’s controls, but after about an hour, you will be a complete pro when it comes to making virtual flip books. I couldn’t think of a better way that the app could have been used so I have to say that the function is good.

Score: 7.5

Value

Ten dollars seems like a pretty fair price for such an advanced piece of software, but if you think you are interested in buying, make sure you check out FlipBook Lite before you make the final decision.

Score: 9.5

Lasting Appeal

Think about it – this app may as well last you the rest of you life! Or… the rest of your devices battery life. Either way though – you probably won’t be finished with this app anytime soon.

Score: 8

Overall

Overall, FlipBook is great.  Like I said before, if you enjoy creating regular flip books, you should simply adore making virtual ones.
